Fruit

 

Fruit is not only colourful but also exists in a wide variety. It contains a rich content of dietary fibre, vitamins, minerals and water, which are all beneficial for health. Children aged from two to six are advised to consume half to one portion of fruit every day so as to improve their immunity, reduce their chance of chronic diseases, detoxify their body and prevent constipation.

 

Some children like to eat candy, potato chips and other unhealthy snacks. Parents can consider giving them fruit instead. This can avoid their children‘s intake of excess calories, sugar and fat.
